Advice for customs clearance for outbound shipments & returns to and from Turkey, Romania & Greece

Orders returning to Turkey, Romania and Greece require brand action to clear through customs.

You will be contacted via DHL directly to provide them with additional documentation to clear returns. You can also proactively view which returns are on their way to you via the order section of your dashboard.We require timely cooperation with DHL so that customers receive their refunds back without delay. As such we recommend using a broker to clear the returns on your behalf.

A broker will also be able to assist you in ensuring your orders are exported correctly as micro-exports.

When exporting from Greece you will need to attach this sticker to ensure that the packages are exported correctly as commercial exports. You can download the sticker by clicking on the above link.

Turkish Micro Exporters must create a e-Arşiv Fatura commercial invoice and declaration prior to collection of their shipments.

This is completed in one of two systems;

GİB E-Archive Portal (Free): The official, free web portal provided by the Turkish Revenue Administration (GİB) for taxpayers with lower invoice volumes.Special Integrators (Paid/Software): Private, GİB-certified service providers (e.g., Paraşüt, Uyumsoft, Sovos, Mikro) which offer automated, faster, and integrated solutions

Which method they use is usually determined by volume of exports.
