Advice for product packaging

The packaging of your product is the first impression the customer gets of your brand, so it's crucial that your packaging protects the product and also emulates the experience of your brand.

Gift Notes

You can tell that the customer has selected an order using our 'gift' option when the below icon appears in the 'order' section of your dashboard:

Please check if the customer has included a gift message on the packing slip, we encourage you to take extra care to write out/print off the message separately for the receiver on an additional card. 

We encourage you to take extra care with the presentation and packaging for gift orders. This contributes towards reducing returns and higher repeat order rates. 

Aesthetic Packaging

Providing beautiful packaging is a great way for your brand to make the impression possible on the customer. View it as an extension of your branding. See a great example of this below:

You may want to consider branded tissue paper, stickers or ribbon. High quality presentation and thoughtful branding gives a strong sense of brand identity and is an important factor to consider. 

Reminder

It is against our terms to include any promotional material within orders which directs customers to your own website or includes discount codes. 

Care & Safety 

It's in everyone's interest that your product arrives safe and in perfect condition. Particularly in categories such as homeware and jewellery, consider what precautionary measures you can take to keep your products safe in transit. Jewellery boxes are encouraged.

Consider the impact on the environment when you are selecting your packaging!
