FAQs

Shopify, Orders & Products

1.  Regarding declining orders: How do I decline an order if I am connected to a warehouse?

Declining orders can't be processed directly through Shopify, so this action has to be done directly via your dashboard once your warehouse confirms that an order can't be fulfilled. You can find the steps to decline orders from your ready to ship section here.

2. What about when a shipping label's weight is too light for your product? Can you update for all future shipments of that product as well?

The weight that we use for shipping labels is a 'placeholder' weight only as our courier partners reweight and measure all of our packages when in transit to ensure that the parcel information they have on file is correct. The weight value on the label shouldn't cause any issues with shipping, but if you have issues with couriers not accepting parcels due to this, then please reach out to our team.

3. Does the Shopify integration work if we use managed markets?

Our Shopify integration does not work with Shopify's Managed Markets add-on, so if you use this, then the sync between the dashboard and Shopify will not work.

4. My stock is run by Shipstation can this be linked to W&B yet rather than Shopify?

The only integration we offer with our dashboard is Shopify; however, if you have any suggestions for other platforms, please let us know by submitting the form here so that our team can look into whether we can extend these options in the future.

5. Is there a TAG showing this is a W&B order in Shopify?

Yes! All exported orders from the dashboard to Shopify will appear in your orders section with a 'Wolf & Badger' tag automatically attached so you can easily identify these orders.

6. Where will I find the courier booking boxes if I am fulfilling on Shopify?

You are not able to book courier collections for orders directly from Shopify, but you will be able to book these via your dashboard as normal using the collection options in your 'Orders' section.

7. Will it be automatically added to your Black Friday discount sale section if we just discount on Shopify?

Yes! If your items are discounted in Shopify they will automatically be included in the sale sections on our website.

8. What if a material is not available on the drop down for the product material composition section? Would I just have to fill out a contact form to see if it can get added?

Yes! If you need any materials added to the product upload form in order to complete your products, just complete a contact form. You can find the option to request a new material under the 'Products & Dashboard' Query type. Our team can then request that this be added for you and let you know once available so you can complete your products ASAP.

9. When I get orders, I can not see how much I’m getting. Where can I go to find out?

Your Sales Report contains a breakdown of all completed orders and includes a breakdown of the fees charged on an item-level (Commission and Fulfilment Fee). Note that this does not include the deductions for operations/store fulfilment fees, as these are charged on an order-level. More information on your Sales Report and how to use this data can be found in this article.

Promotional Sales:

1. If our products are included in the Black Friday sale, can they be returned to full price afterwards?

Yes! The Black Friday sale options are Flash Sales so when the sale ends, any items included will return to full price on the website.

2. Do we have to add our products to Black Friday sales even if it will be discounted on Shopify?

If you use Shopify price-sync, then you do not need to add your items to any Wolf & Badger sales if you will be having a sale on Shopify directly, as this will automatically be applied to your products on our website. If you do add items to one of our sales and have a sale within Shopify, then this will cause your items to be double-discounted and sold at a lower price than intended - if this occurs, please contact our team so that we can help to resolve any issues.

3. If I have the products physically in the W&B shop and I add the Black Friday discount, will they apply it to the products in store as well?
Yes! Black Friday sales automatically flow through to our stores and are applied to your in-store pricing in order to price match any online discounts.
