FAQs

Do customers have to pay to attend events via Eventbrite? 

The brand hosting the event is welcome to set the ticket price. The majority of brand events are free to attend, with more complicated and hands-on events like workshops being more likely to be paid. Wolf & Badger takes our standard commission from ticket sales. 

 

What are the thoughts on goodie bags? My experience is that people only come to claim the free stuff. Which is obviously not very helpful.

Our advice is to offer free gifts/goodie bags with purchase. Our Store Teams will be happy to facilitate freebies only for customers who purchase from your range. 

 

What is the duration of events? Does an event last all day or is it limited to specific hours? Can events be multiple days?

You can select a 3-4 hour time slot. Events must start 1 hour after opening hours and end 1 hour before closing. Typical slots are 2pm-5pm, 3pm-6pm, Sundays differ)

London: Mon - Sat 10-7pm Sun 12-6pm
New York: Mon - Sat 11-7 Sun 12-6pm
Los Angeles: Mon - Sat 10-7 Sun 11-6pm

In order to give all of our brands the chance to host in store, we are not able to facilitate multi-day events. 

 

Are you allowed to have a live musician?

As all events happen during trading hours, and each store location has a different set up with sound systems and layout, this would need to be subject to approval and the details of your pitch. Please feel free to include in your event request, and a member of our team will be able to advise if this is possible or not.

 

Can we hire a coffee/drinks truck to park in front of the store ? 

Similarly to above, each location has different rules with their respective councils for permission for anything in front of the stores. We'd encourage you to include details of this proposal in your event pitch, and depending on logistics, lead-time and subject to permissions, our team will be able to advise on whether this is possible.

 

Can a brand from the UK host an event in the New York store? Can you host an event in more than one store?

Yes absolutely! All event submission are subject to approval, however we would love to see your events in multiple stores subject to availability! 

 

Can you bring stock that is not on W&B online currently to an event?

You are permitted to do so as long as the products are on a line sheet and it is sent to the store team ahead of the event.

 

How are sales on the day managed?

Wolf & Badger will be processing any sales made on the day through our till system taking our regular commission. Sales at events will appear on your dashboard under 'items sold' and 'special orders.' Taking direct payment on the day is strictly prohibited. 

 

When would you get paid the sales made from the event?

Any sales made on the day of your event will appear on the month of the event's normal payment reports, alongside your usual sales. You will receive payment as usual on the 21st of the following month.

 

If we hosted a collaborated event would the display items provided by w&b be doubled? or is this all the same it would just be a shared space?

We will definitely take whether you are collaborating with another brand into consideration when allocating you your space. The store teams will be happy to arrange a walk through or video call with both brands to ensure you're both happy with the space available. Each store has a different layout so the space will vary depending on where you are hosting. 

 

Do we get to have outfit displayed on the window during the event?

Each store has dedicated visual merchandisers who work hard on keeping our window displays beautifully merchandised, so unfortunately it isn't possible to change the displays for each event, apologies!

 

Do you have to be trading online with W&B for a minimum of 3 months first?

No, you don't. You are welcome to submit a request right when you join us!

 

Can we host a pop-up store with an influencer?

All event pitches are subject to approval, so depending on your pitch we would be happy to talk through options regarding how this would look, and get back to you with an answer on a case by case basis!
