Our guide to submitting video content for Wolf & Badger's social media pages

We feature video content from our brands across several Wolf & Badger social channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest which is a great opportunity for brand exposure!

The marketing team invites you to share your brand’s video content so you have the chance to be featured. Please read through our guidelines carefully before you make your submission. 

 

We review digital video content submissions every week and are always on the lookout for strong content to add to our socials. Depending on the quality of submissions received, we aim to feature brands as often as we can.

Please note: All videos must be uploaded  in 9.16 ratio with no brand logo or text overlay.

How to submit your content

 

1. Navigate to your profile on Air, and click into the 'Video Assets' Board:

2. Once in the 'Video Assets' board, select the 'Add' button to upload your content:

3. Once your content has been uploaded, use our tagging feature under 'Fields' on the right hand side:

4. Under 'Custom Fields' on the right hand side, select either the 'Campaign Video', 'Crafting and Maker Video' or 'Styling Video' options:

By utilising the tagging feature correctly you are ensuring the Marketing Team have access to view your submissions during their weekly reviews.

Guidelines for Reels, Short Videos & TikTok 📹

DO'S 👍

  • Practical content! 👠 Content that shows our audiences how they can use your products always performs brilliantly. Eg. 3 ways to style a dress, what to wear with statement earrings, or gift ideas for a friend/partner.
  • Educational content! 🎒 Our audiences love to learn and see how your products are made. This could include showcasing the process of making a particular product, offering tours of your factory or workshop, or demonstrating how you source materials.
  • User Generated Content! 👩🏾 Our audiences love to see your products styled on customers.
  • Videos shot must be in portrait mode with the products in clear focus. 
  • High-resolution and bright lighting.  
  • We strongly encourage brands not to submit content submissions that are shot in a studio -  we are actively seeking engaging lifestyle content ✨

 

DON'TS 👎

  • Still images turned into video collages, behind-the-scenes campaign photoshoots, or footage inside stores that aren’t Wolf & Badger. 

  • Please ensure your videos do not include filters, text overlays, transitions, or brand logos. If you wish to add text, include it in a separate document attached to your submission.

  • Must not include copyrighted music. We can only share royalty-free music. 

  • Do not feature products that aren’t stocked at Wolf & Badger. 

  • Videos that are not formatted to portrait mode.


All approved social digital content must also be shared on your own channels once posted, please make sure you tag @wolfandbadger

Examples

Reels 

Short video content has been particularly engaging on Instagram, with many reels reaching up to 30k views! Styling videos and tips work well, as well as quick tutorials and how-to guides. Reels can be 15-30 seconds and need to be shot portrait. It is important to ensure any of the products featured in the video are available on Wolf & Badger.
